We work with schools, colleges and other institutions of higher learning in functional landscaping, redesign of formerly barren school grounds and rationalize land use for sustainable resource utilization. We incorporate Integrated Land Use Designs alongside Permaculture education to create functional food forests on previously bare school grounds that enable students having a nutritious meal at school.
By targeting rural and hunger stricken areas, vulnerable children as well as cattle communities, our work directly supports areas that feel the burden of food insecurity.
These established food forests serve various purposes including Producing a wide range of nutritious food, providing countless hands on learning opportunities for the curricula, serve as resource centers within communities as well as contributing to community resilience and to the development of the whole person.
